Lawn Care & Maintenance

Q: How often should my lawn be mowed? We recommend a weekly mowing schedule during the peak growing season (typically from spring through fall). This schedule helps maintain a healthy grass height and density, but we can adjust the frequency based on your lawn's specific needs and the time of year.

Q: Do you bag the grass clippings? For most regularly maintained lawns, we mulch the grass clippings back into the turf. These clippings are rich in nutrients and moisture, and they decompose quickly to naturally fertilize your lawn. If you prefer, or if the grass is exceptionally long, we can bag and remove the clippings.

Q: Why don't you always cut in the same direction? We frequently alternate our mowing patterns to prevent soil compaction and rutting. This also creates the professional, striped look you see on well-maintained lawns.

Q: How often do you sharpen your mower blades? We sharpen our blades almost daily to ensure a clean, precise cut. Dull blades can tear grass blades, making your lawn more susceptible to disease and pests. A clean cut promotes a healthier, greener lawn.

Q: What's included in your standard mowing service? Our comprehensive mowing service includes a professional cut of all turf areas, line trimming around obstacles and landscaping beds, edging along all sidewalks and driveways, and blowing off all hard surfaces to leave a clean, polished finish.

Q: Are your products safe for children and pets? The safety of your family and pets is our top priority. We use professional-grade products and will always inform you of any necessary precautions or waiting periods after an application.

Q: When is the best time to fertilize my lawn? The best time for fertilization depends on the type of grass and your local climate. Generally, we recommend a consistent schedule that includes applications in the spring, summer, and fall to ensure a healthy, vibrant lawn.

Scheduling & Payment

Q: Do I need to be home for the services? No, you don't need to be home. As long as we have access to your yard and there are no locked gates, we can complete the work and leave a service notification or send you a text or email update.

Q: What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit cards, checks, and online payments. We have the Auto Pay option for weekly and bi-weekly clients as well. You store a card and it will be automatically charged when we complete the service.
