Mowing Service Details
Our mowing schedule operates on an "as-needed" basis. The frequency of service is determined by weather and seasonal growth patterns. As a general guideline, we typically recommend weekly mowing during the spring. During the hotter, drier summer months, the frequency may extend to every 7-14 days, depending on conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can you mow my lawn while I'm away? A: Yes, we can! If your property is within our service area, please contact us in advance to schedule the service.
Q: Do you bag the grass clippings? A: Bagging is not typically necessary unless the grass has grown exceptionally long. For clients on our regular mowing schedule, clippings are left on the lawn. These clippings are rich in water (85%) and nutrients, and they decompose quickly to fertilize your turf. If thatch buildup is a concern, we recommend an annual aeration.
Q: Do you always cut the lawn in the same direction? A: No, we frequently alternate mowing patterns. This practice creates the "diamond" striping pattern you see on professional lawns and prevents soil compaction and rutting that can occur from mowing in the same direction each week.
Q: How often are your mower blades sharpened? A: We sharpen our mower blades daily to ensure a clean, precise cut that promotes a healthy and beautiful lawn.
